
Biden Delivers Farewell Address to the Nation; Israel and Hamas Reach a Ceasefire Agreement
President Joe Biden delivered a farewell address to the nation, marking the end of his five-decades long political career. He called for unity while warning of growing dangers from concentrated wealth and power. Biden also criticized misinformation, social media, and emphasized the need for strict governance on artificial intelligence.
Israel and Hamas have reached a ceasefire and hostage release deal. Under phase one of the deal, Hamas will release 33 hostages over six weeks, and Israeli forces will withdraw from populated areas in Gaza and release an undisclosed number of Palestinian prisoners.
