LIVE: 7th NTD International Piano Competition Winners Concert and Awards Ceremony
NTD’s 7th International Piano Competition will be held at Kaufman Music Center in New York from Oct. 14 to Oct. 19.
The <a href="https://piano.ntdtv.com/">International Piano Competition</a> is part of a series of international cultural and arts events sponsored by NTD Television Network. The mission of this competition is to promote traditional arts of pure authenticity, pure goodness, and pure beauty.
In addition to piano pieces from the Baroque, Classical, or Romantic periods, the competition features a special commissioned piece, rearranged from one of the vocal pieces composed by Artistic Director of Shen Yun Performing Arts, D. F.
This year's commissioned piece, “Holy Grace,” a symphonic poem, is classical Chinese music for the piano.
Semifinal competitors will have a chance to compete for the “Best Rendition Award of the Commissioned Composition.”
There will be six days of competition, and winners will be selected in a total of six award categories.
The semifinals, finals, and winners’ concert will be open to audience members and livestreamed on NTD’s and The Epoch Times’ websites and social media channels.
