
U.S. Calls on Israel to Change West Bank Tactics; Harris and Trump to Debate; Primaries in 3 States
The U.S. on Tuesday called on Israeli security forces to make fundamental changes to their operations in the West Bank, after Israel said its forces likely unintentionally shot and killed an American activist in the West Bank. Israel expressed its “deepest regret” for the death of Aysenur Ezgi Eygi, while Secretary of State Antony Blinken condemned her death as “unprovoked and unjustified.”
Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump will appear in their first debate Tuesday night in Philadelphia. According to ABC News, the host network, the debate won’t have an audience, live microphones when candidates aren’t speaking, or written notes.
Voters in New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Delaware head to the polls to participate in the latest primaries of the 2024 election season. Both New Hampshire and Delaware have competitive gubernatorial and house races.
