Zhang Xiaoming used to be the director of the Liaison Office and the Hong Kong-Macau Office.
On June 6, he resigned as the Standing Committee of the National Communist Party and a member of the Standing Committee of the National Communist Party.
He tried to make a name for himself here.
Zhang Xiaoming has a strong Jiang faction background.
He has been involved in and in charge of Hong Kong affairs for 35 years.
After the anti-extradition movement in 2019,
he tried to get out of jail quickly.
He went from a political position to a deputy position,
then to a idle position,
and now he is retreating.
The reason for his retreat is that the Hong Kong case
was not resolved and a biased view was created.
He was the director of the Liaison Office and the Hong Kong-Macao Office.
On June 6, he resigned as the Standing Committee of the National Communist Party and a member of the Standing Committee of the National Communist Party.
He has a strong Jiang faction background.
He has been involved in and in charge of Hong Kong affairs for 35 years.
After the anti-extradition movement in 2019,
After the coup, he tried to resign quickly,
and experienced a change from a political official to a deputy,
then a prime minister, and now a retired official.
He tried to stop abruptly, and again triggered various speculations.
Three months ago, Zhang Xiaoming was just dismissed from his post as the Deputy Secretary-General of the National Political Congress.
He was only 60 years old at the time, and this caused a lot of attention.
Hong Kong media person Cheng Xiang, who had connections with the CCP's senior officials,
once said to Daji Yuan,
this signifies that the Jiang faction has completely withdrawn from the stage,
and Xi Jinping has begun to fully control Hong Kong.
Daji Yuan editor-in-chief Shi Shan said,
Zhang Xiaoming has fallen into the battlefield between the Jiang faction and the Xi camp,
which surrounds Hong Kong's control of power.
He is stirring up Hong Kong for the Jiang faction,
and provoking the Hong Kong Commander-in-Chief issue,
thereby gaining self-esteem and bringing about a wave of attempts.
Zhang Xiaoming was born in Taixing, Jiangsu.
In 1986, he graduated from the School of Law,
and entered the Hong Kong-Macao system.
He served as the secretary-general of the former Hong Kong-Macao Office, Liao Hui.
Liao Hui was promoted by Jiang Zemin in 1997,
and served as the director of the Hong Kong-Macao Office until 2010.
He was in charge of the Hong Kong-Macao Office for 13 years.
When Zeng Jinghong, the second-in-command of the Jiang faction,
became the vice-president of the CCP,
Liao Hui was one of the key figures in controlling Hong Kong.
On the other hand, under Liao Hui's training,
Zhang Xiaoming attempted to enter the expressway.
From 1988 to 1990,
he served as the representative of China in the Sino-British Joint Communications Team.
From 1994 to 1997,
he served as the director of the Hong Kong-Macao Office.
From 2004 to 2012,
he served as the vice-president of the Hong Kong-Macao Office.
In 2012, at the age of 49,
Zhang Xiaoming took over as the director of the Hong Kong-Macao Office,
and became the youngest director of the Hong Kong-Macao Office.
Zhang Xiaoming served as the director of the Hong Kong-Macao Office
from 2012 to 2017,
which is exactly the same as the tenure of Hong Kong Chief Executive Liang Zhenying.
Liang Zhenying is the Chief Executive promoted by Jiang Zemin.
In the CCP system,
the Chief Executive of Hong Kong is equivalent to a mayor or governor of China.
The director of the Hong Kong-Macao Office
is the secretary in charge of real power.
The Hong Kong-Macao Office was established in Hong Kong in 1997,
which is the era after the Beijing government.
Although Zhang Xiaoming denied the Hong Kong-Macao Office,
he was accused of high-level interference in Hong Kong's internal affairs,
and was considered by pro-democracy groups
to have violated Article 22 of the Hong Kong Basic Law
and the Sino-British Joint Declaration.
In 2016, at the Hong Kong Legislative Council election,
he proposed that Hong Kong independence activists
should not be allowed to participate in the Legislative Council elections,
and that Hong Kong independence activists should not be allowed to participate.
Shi Shan, who has lived in Hong Kong for many years, said,
At the end of 2013,
there were four people who broke into the Communist Army's camp in Hong Kong.
Hui Wu, Long Shi Qi, and Hong Kong independence activists
appeared in the public eye for the first time,
and became one of the major factors in Hong Kong's great change.
He said,
Before 2014, no one in Hong Kong knew what Hong Kong independence was.
But after breaking into the Communist Army's camp in Hong Kong,
Zhang Xiaoming and others repeatedly mentioned Hong Kong independence.
Inspired by this,
when Hong Kong young people fought against the CCP,
it was no longer just the end of the one-party dictatorship proposed by the Legislative Council,
but also people began to talk about Hong Kong independence.
On the afternoon of December 26, 2013,
four members of the Hong Kong People's Priority Group
broke into the Communist Army's camp in Hong Kong without permission,
shouting slogans such as
Stop Military Ports,
Liberation Army, Get Out of Hong Kong.
One of the members, Zhao Xiancong,
forcedly claimed that this was to help Hong Kong people
overcome the source of fear of the CCP,
which is the heart of the Hong Kong army,
and showed that they wanted to engage in Hong Kong independence.
However, it was the CCP who immediately reported the action.
The People's Daily and Global Times of the Communist Party of China
reported that when they broke into the camp in Hong Kong,
they said that Hong Kong people's priority members are Hong Kong independence activists,
Later, the three people who broke into the camp
were sentenced by the court.
Zhao Xiancong was sentenced to two weeks in prison and a year in prison.
The other two were sentenced to 2,000 Hong Kong dollars each,
which is about $256.
Zhang Hanxian, who was sentenced,
told the media that he regretted his actions at the time.
It is worth noting that
Zhang Hanxian, a member of the Hong Kong people's priority group,
pretended to be a Falun Gong practitioner in September 2014
and harassed Falun Gong practitioners
at the Truth Point in Tongluo Bay.
The Qingguan Association is a branch organization in Hong Kong
established by former Communist Party leader Jiang Zemin
that specializes in persecuting Falun Gong.
The background of Zhang Hanxian and his Hong Kong people's priority group
was questioned.
Zhang Hanxian and his Hong Kong people's priority group
were questioned.
After the so-called Hong Kong independence movement,
the CCP began to strengthen its control of Hong Kong.
On August 31, 2014,
the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of China
held a meeting in Beijing
and set the number of members of the Standing Committee
for the 2017 election.
The Standing Committee was based on a specific framework
such as the nomination process,
the process of generating members,
and the threshold for electing candidates.
The Standing Committee attempted to make sure
that the Hong Kong people's priority group
could be elected by the Standing Committee,
but the Hong Kong people's priority group was not allowed.
when asked if Beijing would allow anti-democratic activists to serve as Hong Kong's special envoy,
he said,
it is enough to show the nation's civilization and tolerance to let you live.
But he later claimed that it was individual media's misinterpretation.
Zhang Xiaoming's series of high-profile remarks
constantly stimulated Hong Kong citizens.
On September 28, the Umbrella Movement broke out in Hong Kong.
This movement ended on December 15.
Of the 7 million people in Hong Kong,
about 1.2 million participated.
In October of the same year,
when Zhang Xiaoming was asked
what he thought of the Umbrella Movement,
he raised his right hand and pointed to the sky,
saying,
the sun rises as usual.
After that,
in a policy report published in 2015,
Liang Zhenying set the goal of suppressing the Hong Kong independence issue
as the first.
For the Hong Kong chaos created by Zhang Xiaoming and Liang Zhenying,
a Hong Kong intelligence agency with a Xiist background
began to attack directly.
On August 30, 2016,
the headline of the intelligence agency was published
as a commentary article by Han Jiangxie,
criticizing the Central Committee of the Central Committee
to support Liang Zhenying,
and established a core interest group
between Liang Zhenying and the Central Committee.
Over the past few years,
he has been using his own way
to communicate with the public in Hong Kong,
cooperating with Liang Zhenying to create enemies,
turning the Central Committee into the Central Administration,
violating the role of the Central Committee
in communicating with the people of Hong Kong.
The intelligence agency later published multiple commentaries
criticizing the Jiang faction in Hong Kong.
On October 4, 2016,
the intelligence agency named Zhang Dejiang,
who was then the chairman of the CPC People's Congress,
and Zhang Xiaoming, the director of the Central Committee,
and Liang Zhenying, the Hong Kong chief executive,
as the three pillars of the chaos.
On December 9, 2016,
Liang Zhenying announced that
he had given up the fight for re-election
and that his term as chief executive
would end on June 30, 2017,
becoming the first unselected
and unrecognized chief executive
On September 22, 2017,
Zhang Xiaoming was recalled to Beijing
to replace Wang Guangya
as the director of the Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office
Although in July before his departure,
Zhang Xiaoming expressed to Xi Jinping
at a conference to celebrate the handover
of Hong Kong's sovereignty
that the primary task of the Central Committee
was to learn seriously
and deeply understand
the important speech spirit of
and to meet the expectations
and hopes of General Secretary Xi.
However, his morale
plummeted after the anti-extradition movement.
In 2020,
Xi Jinping appointed
his confidant Xia Baolong
to replace Zhang Xiaoming
as the director of the Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office.
Zhang Xiaoming was demoted
to deputy director of the Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office.
In June 2022,
Zhang Xiaoming left the core of the Hong Kong and Macau
system for the first time
and became the 13th deputy secretary-general
of the Chinese Communist Party.
On March 2, this year,
Zhang Xiaoming was dismissed
from his post as deputy secretary-general
of the Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office.
On June 6, Zhang Xiaoming resigned
from his post as a member of the CPPCC.
He was kicked out of the CPPCC.
At the age of 60,
he was retired.
During 2012-2020,
served as the director of the Central Committee
and the director of the Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office.
During this period,
the umbrella movement and anti-extradition movement
In the end, the CCP forcibly implemented
the Hong Kong and Macau National Security Law.
Hong Kong lost its freedom and rule of law
and quickly became a mainland.
The position of the international financial center
was also replaced by Singapore.
Regarding the decline of Hong Kong,
the former president of the Morgan Stanley Asian Region
and a senior researcher at Yale University,
Luo Qi,
gave a speech at a foreign press conference in Hong Kong
on June 5.
He once again affirmed his view
of Hong Kong's playfulness.
Luo Qi quoted economic data from the past decades
and thought that the economy of Hong Kong
and mainland China,
whether in terms of trade, capital,
or labor flow,
were at the same pace.
He also emphasized that the relationship
between Hong Kong and mainland China
in economic and political terms
was getting closer and closer.
It is expected that in the foreseeable future,
the performance of the Chinese economy
will hardly change.
Hong Kong's economy will be affected
and it will be difficult to stand alone.
Luo Qi was called
an old friend of China by Beijing.
Since 2000,
Luo Qi has attended
the China Development Summit
and gave a speech for 24 years.
In the past 20 years,
he has always been optimistic about the Chinese economy.
His view of China's economy
and Hong Kong's economy
has also become a reference point for the outside world.
But in February this year,
Luo Qi tweeted that Hong Kong was over.
Luo Qi emphasized many times
that after the anti-extradition bill,
the Hong Kong National Security Law
was automatically weakened.
It was a major factor in Hong Kong's end.
He said that Hong Kong in the past
was not the Hong Kong of today,
let alone the Hong Kong of tomorrow.
Shi Shan thought that
after Zhang Xiaoming became
the director of the Liaison Office in 2012,
there was an umbrella movement
and an anti-extradition bill movement in Hong Kong.
There was clearly a hand behind the whole event.
Its purpose was very clear.
He said that after the anti-extradition bill movement,
many young people in Hong Kong
joined the Hong Kong independence movement.
They did not know that
there was a manipulator behind it.
Beijing saw that Hong Kong was ruined,
so it gradually abolished Zhang Xiaoming's power.
Recently, it also cut off the position
of the deputy secretary-general.
In the end, it kicked him out of the CPPCC.
