House Panel Finalizing Mayorkas Impeachment Articles; Hearing Probes CCP Support for US Adversaries

The House Committee on Homeland Security convened on Jan. 30 to consider two proposed Articles of Impeachment against Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. Republican committee members are expected to approve the articles, which will then go to the full House for a vote. Democrats have fought the process, calling it nothing more than “a political stunt.”
