Leila: La Brujita Perfecta

Leila Wayward, a young witch excelling in all she does, is the fastest flier, most cunning conjuror, and best shape-shifter. She has won trophies in potions, herbology, and alchemy, and now dreams of winning the Magnificent Witchy Cake-off. As the youngest in a family of Dark Arts Patisserie masters, Leila wants her entry to be perfect. However, she discovers she's a disaster in the kitchen. Fortunately, her three magical sisters share their culinary secrets with her, and she finds baking with them enjoyable. Regardless of the outcome, she experiences the sweetest thing: acceptance. Flavia Z. Drago's story, filled with expressive and whimsical illustrations, will delight young witches and novice bakers.
