Dr. Wu originally studied civil engineering at the National Taiwan University, majoring in structural engineering for both his undergraduate and graduate degrees, and obtained a license as a structural engineer. However, he was deeply moved by the profound theories of Traditional Chinese Medicine and its simple, quick, and side-effect-free miraculous effects, which led him to switch to studying TCM. With a background in logical thinking from his engineering training, Dr. Wu is able to identify patterns in the development of diseases from complex symptoms and provide appropriate treatments.
Dr. Wu aspires to become a "Heart Physician" – one who treats patients with sincerity, compassion, and empathy. Through his medical practice, he seeks to realize the principles of the Medical Tao.
