LOS ANGELES — Nicole Kidman enjoyed a memorable night at the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, where she watched models walk the runway to a song named after her and witnessed Tate McRae deliver a striking performance.
The Oct. 18 event debuted in Los Angeles, with the Practical Magic 2 star, 59, among those attending. Kidman opted for a business-inspired ensemble featuring a white button-down shirt, a striped tie and a lingerie-inspired skirt. She sat in the front row beside Vanessa Bryant, whose daughter, Natalia, walked the runway in embellished jeans.
One of the evening’s unexpected moments came when models appeared to Adéla’s hit song “Nicole Kidman,” a track that references the Hollywood star. Video captured by PEOPLE showed Kidman smiling as the viral song played during the show.
The actress had previously expressed admiration for Adéla, the 22-year-old Slovak pop singer who gained recognition through the 2023 reality competition series Dream Academy.
In a social media video from the London premiere of the Practical Magic sequel, a fan asked Kidman whether she knew who Adéla was. The Oscar winner enthusiastically responded, “Oh, yes! She is! I do know!”
Adéla was equally excited to learn that her musical inspiration was familiar with her work. Speaking to Pop Crave, according to Billboard, she said, “I can’t believe Nicole Kidman knows who I am.”
She added, “To get the recognition from the person that you wrote the song about, and it being not just any person, it’s Nicole Kidman. Like, she’s a legend.”
Adéla’s song was not the only performance that caught Kidman’s attention. In another video recorded by PEOPLE, the actress could be seen reacting as Tate McRae took over the stage in red-hot lingerie.
McRae was part of the show’s all-women musical lineup, which also featured Katseye, Megan Moroney and Megan Thee Stallion.
The fashion event followed another recent front-row appearance by Kidman at the Chanel Spring/Summer 2027 fashion show in Paris. She attended alongside her youngest daughter, 15-year-old Faith, whom she shares with ex-husband Keith Urban. The pair coordinated their looks in gray outfits for the occasion.
When the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was announced in August, Adam Selman, executive vice president and chief creative officer of Victoria’s Secret and PINK, said organizers wanted to make the production bigger than previous editions held on the East Coast.
“I wanted this to be bigger and bolder than last year, and we couldn’t find a space in New York that could house all the things that we wanted to do,” Selman told PEOPLE.
He described the change in location as an opportunity to explore a different interpretation of American culture and the American dream.
“It was a fun new challenge of like, okay, this is a different side of Americana and this sort of idea of the American dream, and I’m calling this year Fandemonium,” he said.
Selman also hinted at surprises for viewers, explaining that fan requests would help shape the event.
“There’s going to be some unexpected people up in the mix, which is going to be fun,” he added. “It’s that idea of Fandemonium. So if the fans have been asking for it, the goal is to try to make it happen. I’m going to plant those seeds too and see if they pick up on that.”
Models Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, Alex Consani, Paloma Elsesser and Abby Champion returned to the runway for this year’s show. Kylie Jenner also made history by wearing the $50 million Fantasy Bra, the most expensive accessory of its kind in Victoria’s Secret history.
The event’s all-women musical lineup featured Megan Moroney, Megan Thee Stallion, Tate McRae and KATSEYE.
