Actress Sydney Sweeney has featured in a second advertisement for sports betting company Novig, following widespread backlash over her previous campaign, which was criticised for sexualising women’s sports.

Sweeney shared the latest advertisement on her Instagram page earlier today, weeks after her topless promotional campaign for the platform drew strong reactions from the sporting community.

In the short video, the actress wears only white underwear as she walks through an empty sports stadium.

“There are grown men making spreadsheets to bet on what colour underwear I’m wearing,” Sweeney says at the beginning of the advertisement, before highlighting controversial betting markets available on other prediction platforms.

“There’s insider trading on dictators dying and armies of bots manipulating it all,” she said. “There’s someone sitting in a bathroom stall betting their 401K on a war. And then, there are people who just trade on sports.”

The advertisement forms part of Novig’s ‘Just Sports’ campaign, which appears to criticise competing platforms such as Kalshi and Polymarket. Both companies offer the kinds of prediction markets referenced by Sweeney in the video.

The campaign has reignited attention around the actress’s partnership with Novig, which first attracted widespread commentary last month when she appeared nearly nude in an advertisement promoting the platform. That initial campaign sparked considerable online debate over its approach to marketing sports betting.
