據半島電視台（Al Jazeera）11日報導，沙特阿拉伯民航局稱，週六（10月10日），胡塞武裝攻擊了沙特的利雅德哈立德國王國際機場，造成4名沙特阿拉伯人、2名孟加拉人，以及來自美國、約旦、巴勒斯坦、敘利亞、蘇丹和埃及等國各1名罹難者，另外至少有309人受傷。

據報導，這次襲擊是沙特王國十多年來遭到的最致命襲擊，也是胡塞武裝本週對該國際機場的第三次襲擊。胡塞武裝此前於週四（10月8日）的襲擊造成了至少3名沙特公民死亡，其中包括一名飛行員。

聯合國祕書長安東尼奧·古特雷斯（Antonio Guterres）在X平台發表聲明，稱他對胡塞武裝對國際機場的致命襲擊「深感震驚」，並強烈譴責，並表示，襲擊平民和民用基礎設施違反了國際法，「必須立即停止」。

此外，埃及、卡塔爾、巴基斯坦、約旦、阿曼、巴勒斯坦、日本和加拿大等國都對胡塞武裝的襲擊表示強烈譴責，稱其公然違反國際法，漠視公民安全，是「令人髮指的恐怖主義行徑」，嚴重威脅地區的和平與安全。
