Los Angeles — David Grohl and his wife, Jordyn Blum, stepped out together at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards on September 27, marking a rare public appearance for the couple.

The appearance came two years after Grohl confirmed that he had welcomed a daughter outside of his marriage. The musician and Blum attended the ceremony together as Nirvana was honored with the Video Vanguard Award.

Grohl also appeared at the event alongside Nirvana members Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear. The band received the Video Vanguard Award during the ceremony at Los Angeles’ Peacock Theater.
