Maria Bartiromo is leaving Fox News Media after more than 12 years with the company, bringing an end to a lengthy run that included prominent roles across the network’s business programming.

Fox News Media confirmed the separation Thursday but did not provide a reason for Bartiromo’s departure.

“We thank Maria for her work,” the company said in a statement, “and wish her all the best on her next chapter.”

Bartiromo had been one of Fox Business Network’s most recognizable hosts, anchoring “Mornings with Maria” and also hosting “Maria Bartiromo’s Wall Street.”

Her final episode of “Mornings with Maria” aired Thursday morning, the same day Fox announced that she was no longer with the company.

The network did not disclose whether Bartiromo chose to leave, whether her contract had ended or whether the separation resulted from another decision by Fox News Media.

No replacement plans for her programs were announced in the statement.

Bartiromo’s departure closes a tenure of more than a dozen years during which she became a central figure in Fox Business Network’s coverage of financial markets, economic policy and business news.

Fox News Media’s brief announcement offered no additional details about what Bartiromo plans to do next, saying only that the company wished her well as she moves into the next phase of her career.
