Los Angeles, CA-John “Sly” Wilson, founder of the legendary 1970s soul group and 2013 R&B Hall of Fame inductees Sly, Slick & Wicked, announces the release of his new book, Joe Jackson: Through My Eyes — By the One Who Knew Him Best, now available on Amazon.
Wilson began working with Joe Jackson in 1985 and shared nearly 30 years of friendship, personal conversations, and professional experiences with him. He also worked with La Toya and Janet Jackson and remained close to the Jackson family for more than 40 years.
“There have been many stories told about Joe Jackson,” Wilson said. “This is my story, based on what Joe shared with me and what I personally experienced during our years together.”
The book gives readers a rare, firsthand look at Joe Jackson beyond the headlines, revealing the man, father, manager, and visionary behind one of music’s most famous families.
