The Los Angeles Dodgers are on the verge of winning another National League West Division this season. From 2013-2020 they won the NL West and then in 2022-2026 they are going to win it again. The San Francisco Giants won the division in 2021. Los Angeles has a 69-43 record this season.

The Dodgers have won three World Series and have been to five since 2013 season. There is a chance that there might be an MLB lockout after the 2026 season. There is a greater chance of this happening after they could win three straight World Series titles and also trading for starting pitcher Tarik Skubal on the Detroit Tigers. There is a point baseball where there is just dominance in baseball, and the other 29 teams can’t keep up with them and something has to change.

National League West Winners Over the Years Proves Change is Needed in the MLB With the Los Angeles Dodgers

MLB: Chicago Cubs at Los Angeles Dodgers

There is proof that change is needed in the MLB landscape. The Colorado Rockies have never won an NL West title before in franchise history. The San Diego Padres last won the division in 2005 and in 2006. For the Arizona Diamondbacks, they last won the division in 2007 and in 2011. San Francisco also won the division in 2010 and in 2012, and the Giants won the World Series both times. Other than that, this division has been dominated by the Dodgers over the last 20 years.

There needs to be major changes within baseball. The Rockies have not been a good organization, but there needs to be more parity. The Diamondbacks and the Padres have good organizations, but they can’t spend at the level as the Dodgers.
