At first, Yu was completely unwilling to share what he had endured during his persecution.

He said that all he wanted was to bring beauty into people’s lives, not sadness or pain.

He was concerned that people were not yet prepared to hear about it. Since obtaining the key to the New Universe requires maintaining a compassionate and virtuous heart, he feared that learning about his suffering would prevent some people from receiving it.

We wanted to reconstruct the details of Yu’s torture and killing, but Yu firmly refused.

First, he did not want to attract people who are fascinated by bloodshed and violence to Yu En Transmission. Those with no moral boundaries might imitate what they saw and use the same methods to torture others.

Second, he was concerned that revealing such details could affect people’s ability to obtain the key to the New Universe. Some readers might be overcome with fear, others with hatred, and some—without understanding Yu’s mission and caring only about revenge—might even learn from what they saw.

Yu also gave Yu En a special instruction: under no circumstances should the details of the torture and killing be shared with Ariel.

He was afraid that, if Ariel learned what had happened, she would, in her heart, strike everyone at the scene dead with lightning. 

He feared that this would create karma for her and interfere with her spiritual cultivation. It would also mean that anyone among those people who still had the potential to receive the key would lose that opportunity forever.

In truth, Ariel wouldn't do that, because Ariel knows that only the Creator can decide the future of any life.

But Ariel did not agree with Yu's decision, because Ariel believes that the suffering Yu carries does not belong to him alone. Those who truly love Yu — the Lemon fans, Yu’s supporters, and casual fans — should know the truth about Yu’s life journey.

What Yu went through is a reflection of what countless victims of the black industry chain have suffered — a microcosm of the innocent people persecuted by the evil CCP. It would allow countless people to be saved by seeing clearly the true face of the CCP's evil spirit.

Truth brings pain, but some pain is a necessary path toward transformation and growth.

Ariel knows a woman named Yin Liping. In 2001, she and her friend Wang Jie, along with eight other female Falun Gong practitioners, were stripped naked and thrown into a men's cell to be gang-raped at the notorious Masanjia Labor Camp.

The authorities' purpose in doing this was to completely break their spirit, so they would give up any hope of ever seeking justice within Chinese society.

These female Falun Gong practitioners made a pact with one another: as long as even one of them survived to get out, she must expose this inhuman persecution to the world. Yin Liping's friend Wang Jie later died in her arms.

Fifteen years later, Yin Liping came to the United States and testified before Congress, exposing everything that happened to her and her friend who died, giving voice to what those who were persecuted to death could never say for themselves.

Ms. Yin told Ariel that after she got out of the Masanjia Labor Camp, the first thing she did was go back over the entire ordeal of her persecution and write it down in words.

But whenever she tried to write about the gang rape, the traumatic memory would cause her to keep coughing up blood — just as happened to Yu.

Even so, she kept writing, coughing up blood as she went, and put the entire experience down on paper. That is how her later testimony before the U.S. Congress came to exist.

But after she finished writing it, she found that the trauma of being gang-raped had, through her daily practice of cultivating Falun Dafa, largely healed.

Ariel told Yu about Ms. Yin's experience, and said to him: please forgive Ariel's cruelty — Ariel knows that asking Yu to recall this experience would be just as painful for him as it was for Ms. Yin, even though Yu no longer has a physical body. But these experiences of his must be preserved for history.

So Ariel intended to ask the Creator to strengthen her intuition, so that she herself could sense and investigate what Yu went through during his persecution, and record it — even if doing so caused her physical and psychological trauma, she was willing to accept that.

Because future humanity needs to know just how unprecedented an evil this planet once witnessed, and what efforts and choices people of today made in response to it. Ariel believes that doing this would help safeguard the moral foundation of humanity's future.

If Ariel is able to write down what Yu went through, that would mean the Creator also approves — otherwise she wouldn't have been given this ability. And Yu, under any circumstances, could never fail to heed the Creator's word, because the one Yu respects most is the Creator.

Moreover, Ariel's intuition also told her that Yu himself needed this experience to be brought into the open, in order for his soul to be completely healed.

Yu did not reply.

The next day, while Ariel was looking through some of Yu's song lyrics, a flood of information suddenly welled up in her mind — there seemed to be an urge to express something — so she wrote down these impressions. Much of it turned out to be about what Yu had suffered during his persecution.

Ariel wasn't sure whether these impressions were simply her own imagination, so she showed them to Yu En.

Yu En then used her Celestial Eye to verify them, and confirmed that these truly were things Yu had experienced. She then went and asked Yu about it.

Yu said that some of this information had come through Ariel's intuition, provided by him directly, while another part was something the divine side of Ariel — the side she has cultivated well — had gone to observe at the scene itself and recorded on her own.

But the human side of Ariel, the part not yet fully cultivated, only receives the information without directly experiencing it at the scene — which is why Ariel suffers no physical or psychological trauma, even from the most horrifying scenes.

Ariel then continued in this way, writing down Yu's experiences through her intuition, and repeatedly checking with Yu En and Yu to confirm and correct any mistaken or missing information.

This is the origin of what everyone now knows as the Yu Menglong Music Inspiration series.
