Joanne was imprisoned in a cold, damp dungeon filled with the stench of blood. As the evil witch hunters, lusting after her beauty, prepared to sexually assault her, a mysterious force suddenly froze them in place like ravenous wolves ready to pounce. Seizing the opportunity, Joanne cast a spell that stopped time and escaped.

Remembering Anne's words, she chose not to kill any of them. But once time resumed and the witch hunters regained the ability to move, they became convinced that Joanne truly was a witch. They immediately summoned even more witch hunters to track her down.

Despite her escape, Joanne was eventually captured again and imprisoned in a small wooden cabin.

Just as the witch hunters were about to subject her to brutal sexual violence and torture, her soul suddenly separated from her body and slowly rose into the sky.

"Well done, my granddaughter," her grandmother said. "Because you refused to take a life, I am now able to save you."

Her grandmother's soul gently embraced Joanne as lovingly as if she were cradling a newborn child, softly humming a lullaby. Joanne instinctively tried to look down at what was being done to her body, but her grandmother covered her eyes.
