Recently, a reader left the following question in the comments, asking about Ham's current situation:

"Since July, northern China—especially Beijing—has experienced continuous purple heavenly lightning. I imagine the divine army of Emperor Zhenwu must also be taking part in eliminating evil. I'd like to ask Yu: Has Ham, who was recently promoted to the divine beast Xuanwu (the sacred beast serving under Emperor Zhenwu of the North), joined the battles this year? 😄 If so, I'd also love to ask Ham—how does it feel, as a rookie, to return to the very place where you were once bullied and fight against evil? 😄❤️"

To everyone's surprise, Ham actually replied:

"Honestly, I spend most of my time at Ariel's house eating chicken drumsticks. The Dragon King assigned me to stay by her side and protect her. Of course, I'm not the only one guarding her. Other members of the Dragon Clan are also protecting Yu En and the rest of the Yu En Transmission team, so we need plenty of people. But whenever necessary, I join the battles too."

Chicken drumsticks are Ham's favorite food—and they're one of Ariel's favorites as well.

Later, someone had asked about Fuli's recent activities:

"😆😁🥰💜💖 May I ask out of curiosity? Besides protecting the broadcaster's family, what does the qilin Fuli like to eat these days?"

Yu En replied:

"Fuli loves chewing on pork ribs—but only if there's plenty of meat. If there's no meat, he won't even touch them. His main duty is serving as a guard dog—a guard dog dressed in shining battle armor."

Whenever Ariel's family sat down for a meal, Fuli was always the first to arrive. He had absolutely no restraint when food was involved. 🤣

Whenever Yu En's family cooked pork rib soup, Fuli would also come running over. Just as Yu once said, Fuli charged around like a tank. 😂

On another occasion, Fuli came thumping all the way to Yu En's house.

Yu En asked, "What are you doing here? We're eating out today. There's nothing cooking at home."

Fuli replied, "I came to eat watermelon. 🍉"

Yu En laughed and said, "Hey! I think we already finished all the watermelon."

But when the refrigerator was opened, there was still a huge piece of watermelon inside!

Even Yu En hadn't realized there was any left.

What an adorable little foodie!

Whenever evil appeared, both little ones—Ham and Fuli—were always filled with righteous enthusiasm and insisted on helping in battle.

Seeing their determination, the Dragon King (Yu) asked someone to make them dazzling suits of battle armor.

However, the moment they actually reached the battlefield and caught sight of how terrifying the evil beings looked, they became so frightened that they immediately fled before the fighting even began.

Shivering all over, they insisted that the Dragon King had never intended for them to fight in the first place. 😆

The instant they saw the evil beings, both little ones hid behind the Dragon King's robes, trembling uncontrollably.

Wait a minute...

Where did all that fearless courage go?

In the end, the Dragon King simply used his divine powers to send the two little ones safely back home.

One our team members jokingly asked,

"If they run away the moment they see evil, how are they supposed to protect you? 😂"

Yu En smiled and replied,

"That was only in the beginning. They've become much braver over time. The only thing that hasn't changed is how greedy they are when it comes to food. Aside from their lack of self-control around delicious meals, they're both very well-behaved."

Ariel quietly thought to herself:

"Actually, Ham and Fuli's protection mainly represents the Dragon King's love and concern for us. What truly protects us is our own cultivation and righteous thoughts.

When Falun Dafa practitioners send forth righteous thoughts—a divine ability bestowed upon cultivators by the Creator—evil beings across vast regions in other dimensions are destroyed."

Of course, Ham must never hear Ariel thinking that.

The little fellow has always cared deeply about what other people think of him. Even during his lifetime, he hated hearing anyone say he wasn't handsome. 😆

If he ever found out Ariel secretly thought his combat abilities weren't very impressive... the consequences would be unimaginable!

Another team member then asked,

"I remember Yu once said that both Ham and Fuli were girls. Is that actually true?"

Yu En replied,

"That was also false information Yu was forced to release during his lifetime. The entertainment industry in mainland China required him to say in public interviews that they were female, with the intention of making his image appear more feminine."

Seriously...

Could two little food lovers with appetites like theirs, proudly marching into battle wearing shining armor, possibly be girls?
