After Karen Bass and Nithya Raman were declared the primary winners, Spencer Pratt said his campaign was over but his effort to expose what he called Los Angeles’ “corrupt machine” was entering a new phase.

Spencer Pratt, the reality television figure who ran as a Republican candidate for Los Angeles mayor, conceded that the campaign stage of his effort had ended after Karen Bass and Nithya Raman were declared the primary winners, but said he planned to continue targeting city officials and claimed he had recordings that could force one of the remaining candidates to resign.

Pratt made the comments in a post on X, where he shared a video in which he questioned whether his critics believed they could remove him from the political fight “that easily.” Pratt said he did not enter the race to gain office but to expose what he described as corruption in Los Angeles government.

“Hey, morons, I didn’t get in this for political power, I got in this to expose this corrupt machine, and nothing has changed. You enjoy your worthless meetings at City Hall,” Pratt stated. “I’m going to be lighting you up every single day, now that I don’t have to worry about offending CNN viewers. I don’t have a campaign, laws hamstringing me now. It’s war. It’s zero hour for Los Angeles.”

The remarks came after Bass and Raman were declared the winners in the primary for the Los Angeles mayoral race. Pratt, who had announced his mayoral campaign in January, entered the race a year after losing his home in the Palisades Fire.

Pratt said Los Angeles residents were now left with two candidates he blamed for the city’s problems, calling the choice “dumb and dumber.” He also said major developers, business owners and entrepreneurs had been contacting him to say they were preparing to leave Los Angeles.

“My goal hasn’t changed. I’ve been laser focused on stopping these commie animals, and I will stop them,” Pratt continued. “If you think we uncovered a lot of fraud and evil in the campaign, just wait, we have some recordings of one of your insulting candidates doing and saying something that would make her resign in shame. I was saving it for the general election. Go ahead and pick your demon, certify your choice, and then you get to see it.”

Pratt later directed his warning toward Bass and Raman, saying they should consider whether one of their employees could have recorded them “doing or saying something that would force” them to resign in disgrace.

The primary results followed a shift in the vote count as mail-in ballots were tallied. Breitbart News’s Paul Bois reported that Bass and Raman were projected as winners after Raman overtook Pratt in the vote count while Pratt’s lead declined during the weeklong tabulation of mail-in ballots.

With the primary outcome moving Bass and Raman forward, Pratt said he was no longer operating as a candidate but as an adversary of the political establishment he accused of damaging Los Angeles.
