Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud is being cited in a video circulating on X as confirming what many conservatives have warned for years: President Donald Trump is cleaning up the foreign policy mess left behind by Barack Obama.
According to the post, the Saudi crown prince said Iran received access to massive financial relief under the Obama-era nuclear deal and did not use it to build “a single street, housing complex, or industrial zone in Iran.” Instead, Iran used its resources to build missiles and drones, finance proxy forces and support terrorist organizations such as Hamas, Ansar Allah and Hezbollah.
That is the part Washington still does not want to answer for.
The Obama administration sold the Iran nuclear agreement as diplomacy. Critics warned at the time that giving Iran sanctions relief would not make the regime more peaceful. It would make the regime more dangerous. Years later, the Middle East is still living with the consequences.
Iran did not become a responsible nation. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps did not lay down its weapons. The regime did not suddenly choose peace. It continued to threaten Israel, the Gulf states and the United States while expanding its reach through terror networks and proxy groups across the region.
This is why President Trump’s foreign policy mattered then, and why it matters now.
Trump understood that peace does not come from rewarding evil. Peace comes through strength. He understood that Iran could not be trusted with more money, more power and more time while continuing to chant death to America and death to Israel.
Obama’s defenders can call it diplomacy all they want, but the results speak for themselves. The Arab Spring destabilized the region. Libya was toppled and left in chaos. ISIS rose out of the power vacuum. Iran grew stronger. America’s allies were left wondering whether Washington had abandoned them.
Now, the same regime that was empowered under weak American leadership is attacking and threatening the very region Obama claimed he was trying to stabilize.
The Saudi crown prince’s comments should be a wake-up call. Iran did not use financial relief to bless its own people. It used its power to build weapons, arm proxies and spread destruction.
That is not diplomacy. That is appeasement.
Here is:
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud confirms that Trump is cleaning up the mess that Barack Obama, the world’s number one sponsor of terror, created.

President Trump has spent years trying to undo the damage left behind by Obama’s foreign and domestic policies. From Iran to the border to the courts to the deep state, Trump has been forced to fight through one crisis after another created by the same political class that still refuses to accept responsibility.
Americans deserve accountability. They deserve to know why policies that strengthened Iran were pushed so aggressively. They deserve to know why America’s allies were ignored while our enemies were given room to grow. They deserve to know why no serious investigation has followed the decisions that helped destabilize the Middle East and weaken America’s standing around the world.
The media will ignore it. The establishment will excuse it. But the truth is becoming harder to hide.
Weak leadership has consequences. Appeasing terror has consequences. Turning your back on allies has consequences.
And now, President Trump is once again being called to clean up the mess.
