House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer said Thursday that congressional investigators obtained the names of three previously unidentified alleged abusers during a closed-door transcribed interview with Sarah Kellen, a longtime associate of Jeffrey Epstein who has claimed she was herself victimized by Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

In comments released after the meeting, Comer described the interview as the committee’s most significant session so far in its ongoing investigation into Epstein’s network and associates.

According to video remarks posted by the House Oversight Committee, Comer said Kellen provided detailed testimony regarding abuse she allegedly endured before later becoming involved in recruiting activities tied to Epstein and Maxwell.

“She was very brave coming forward,” Comer told reporters. “I can’t imagine how difficult it was for her to go into detail about the abuse that she endured at the hands of Epstein and Maxwell.”

Comer stated that investigators received new information about additional individuals allegedly connected to the abuse network.

“One very positive thing today is she gave us three names of people that were involved in the abuse,” Comer said. “These were new names for us.”

Kellen has long been referenced in court filings and public reporting as one of Epstein’s close associates and was frequently described as a “lieutenant” within Epstein’s inner circle. She has maintained that she was manipulated and abused by Epstein and Maxwell before becoming involved in activities directed by the pair.

The Oversight Committee chairman said the committee plans to publicly release the interview transcript once victim names and identifying information are redacted.

“As far as these alleged abusers, then you know, we’ll let the whole world see that and we’ll be able to move forward,” Comer said.

Comer also addressed questions raised during the interview about President Donald Trump, saying Democratic members of the committee repeatedly attempted to establish a connection between Trump and Epstein’s trafficking operation.

In a separate statement posted online, Comer said Kellen denied any such involvement.

“The Democrats have one goal, it appears to me … verify this narrative that Trump’s involved,” Comer said. “[That’s] just not the case and I think that this is going to be a good day for us moving forward.”

The House Oversight Committee has continued conducting interviews connected to Epstein’s network and associations. Comer noted that investigators have also interviewed former President Bill Clinton, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick regarding their past connections to Epstein.

None of those individuals have been accused of wrongdoing.
