Brandon Clarke, a forward for the Memphis Grizzlies NBA team, has died at the age of 29.

His death was announced by the Grizzlies and his agency Priority Sports.

“Brandon was an outstanding teammate and an even better person whose impact on the organization and the greater Memphis community will not be forgotten,” the Memphis Grizzlies said in a statement.

No cause of death was announced.

Clarke was drafted in the first round of the 2019 NBA Draft by the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2019. He was traded two weeks later to the Grizzlies.

This is a developing story.
