Digital Platform Unveiled by Indian Ambassador H.E. Mr. Vipul at ICC Ashoka Hall

Doha, Qatar:
In a significant step toward strengthening digital engagement with the Indian expatriate community in Qatar, the Indian Cultural Centre (ICC Qatar) officially launched its mobile application on Sunday, 3rd May 2026, during a special ceremony held at ICC Ashoka Hall.

The application was formally inaugurated by H.E. Mr. Vipul, Ambassador of India to Qatar, in the presence of several distinguished dignitaries and ICC office bearers, including Dr. Vaibhav A. Tandale, Counsellor (Head of Chancery and Consular) at the Embassy of India; Mr. A.P. Manikantan, ICC President; Mr. P. N. Babu Rajan, Chairman of the ICC Advisory Council; Mr. Shantanu Deshpande, ICC Vice President; Mr. Abraham K. Joseph, ICC General Secretary; along with members of the ICC Managing Committee and community representatives.

The newly launched ICC Qatar Mobile Application, now available on both iOS and Android platforms, has been developed as a comprehensive digital hub aimed at enhancing accessibility, communication, and community support services for Indians residing in Qatar.

Speaking during the launch ceremony, officials highlighted that the app serves as a modern one-stop solution offering a broad range of community-oriented services and informational resources.

One of the key features of the application is its centralized dashboard, which provides users with real-time access to ICC news updates, notifications, announcements, event alerts, and quick links to major services. The feature is expected to significantly improve communication between ICC and the Indian community in Qatar.

A major attraction of the platform is its dedicated Job Portal, created to support both job seekers and employers within the expatriate community. The portal allows users to browse employment opportunities, upload resumes, create professional profiles, and securely track job applications, thereby promoting career development and employment networking.

The application also introduces the “ICC Elite Club,” a premium membership initiative designed to offer exclusive benefits to members. Subscribers will enjoy priority access to selected services, partner discounts, invitations to cultural programs, networking events, and other special community activities.

In addition, the mobile application provides detailed information regarding ICC Forums, Clubs, and Associated Organizations, while also keeping users informed about social welfare initiatives, workshops, cultural programs, recreational events, and community assistance services organized under the ICC banner.

Community leaders described the launch as an important milestone in ICC Qatar’s ongoing efforts to modernize its outreach and strengthen engagement with the Indian diaspora through technology-driven solutions.

The ICC Qatar Mobile Application is now available for download on both major mobile platforms:
