What began as a joyful wedding celebration in Naples, Florida, turned into a deeply emotional tribute that has since touched hearts around the world.
During her wedding reception last October, bride Mari Nash paused the festivities to honor the woman she says shaped her life: her mother, Camelia Gelabert.
In a moment captured by videographer Joseph Hardin and later shared March 26 on his Instagram account, @josephhardinfilms, Mari stood before family and friends and turned toward her mother across the reception room. Camelia, seated among the guests, looked visibly stunned as her daughter began speaking directly to her while the once-lively celebration fell quiet with anticipation.

In the caption accompanying the video, Hardin wrote in part: “Mari’s mom had no idea she was going to do this. In the midst of the celebration, Mari took the microphone and shared a heartfelt thank you to the woman who shaped her. She dedicated her bouquet as a way of honoring the love, generosity, faith, and unwavering support that carried her to this day.”
“The bouquet moment felt like the most natural way to honor her — not just for everything she’s done for me, but for the faith she’s passed down to me,” Mari told People. “It was a small gesture, but it meant everything.”
Mari said the tribute felt especially meaningful because Camelia “is the most selfless, resilient and faith-filled person” she knows and has shaped her life through an example of “unwavering faith and love.”
The emotional tribute quickly spread across social media, earning hundreds of thousands of likes and resonating with viewers who saw their own mothers, daughters and family bonds reflected in the moment.
Mari and Luke Nash were married Oct. 24 in Naples, but it was this unexpected pause during the reception that became one of the evening’s most unforgettable memories.
In the clip, Mari took the microphone and delivered a heartfelt message thanking her mother for years of love, sacrifice and unwavering faith.
“Mom — so, I wasn’t sure if I’d have the courage to stand up here tonight, but my heart wouldn’t let me miss this chance,” Mari said. “Tonight, I want to take a moment that is just for my mom.”
She continued: “You’ve worked tirelessly, prayed constantly, and poured your whole heart into making this day what it is. And just as you’ve prayed that it would all be in God’s will, I believe with my whole heart that it is in His will for me to give you this moment. This moment is for you.”
Guests watched quietly as Mari walked toward her mother carrying a bouquet of white flowers.
Then came the moment that left many in tears.
“Mom, you’ve given me everything. Your faith, your strength, your endless generosity, and your love,” Mari said. “Because of you, I am who I am. We want everyone here to see you, to celebrate you, and to know how deeply we love and thank you.”
“And as a symbol of that gratitude, and everything you continue to pour into our lives, I want to dedicate my beautiful bouquet to you,” she added. “This moment and this bouquet are both for you, Mom. We love you.”
The room erupted into applause as Mari and her husband embraced Camelia and handed her the bouquet.
For Mari, publicly honoring her mother felt deeply personal and necessary.
“She leads with love and has always had a deep trust in God, no matter what life looked like,” Mari told People. “She’s the reason my faith is such a strong part of my life, and along with my grandmother, she’s been my example in that every single day.”
“It’s always been the three of us, and that bond is something I carry with me forever,” she added.
While the wedding itself was already filled with joy, Mari said seeing the video resonate with strangers online became an unexpected blessing.
The viral clip has now reached millions of viewers, many of whom shared stories of their own mothers and family relationships in the comments.
Mari told People she hopes the moment reminds others to express gratitude openly and cherish the people who helped shape them.
She said she is grateful the video “has touched people all around the world” and hopes it “inspires even a small amount of love, faith or goodness in others.”
