During Friday’s broadcast of Kudlow on the Fox Business Network, host Larry Kudlow delivered a forceful assessment of the ongoing tensions between the United States and Iran, arguing that Tehran has little choice but to comply with Washington’s demands.
Kudlow asserted that the United States holds the upper hand in the standoff and described the situation as one in which Iran is facing severe economic and social strain.
Speaking emphatically, Kudlow maintained that Iran must accede to American requirements, contending there is “no running room” left for the Iranian government. He framed the current pressure campaign as decisive, claiming that the U.S. has effectively “won the war” in terms of economic leverage. According to Kudlow, Iran’s financial system is deteriorating under sanctions, with the country “going bankrupt” and struggling to sustain basic economic stability.
In particularly harsh rhetoric, Kudlow characterized Iranian leaders as “gruesome, Nazi-like monsters” and stated that, in his view, the only acceptable outcome would be “unconditional surrender.” His comments underscored a belief that diplomatic compromise should give way to complete compliance by Tehran with U.S. demands.
Kudlow further argued that shortages of critical resources, particularly gasoline, are intensifying internal pressures within Iran. He suggested that modern societies cannot function without stable fuel supplies and implied that such shortages often lead to unrest. Referencing these economic constraints, Kudlow predicted that the situation could be “set up for a revolution,” claiming that the civilian population may be increasingly frustrated and prepared for change.
He urged U.S. policymakers to maintain — and potentially intensify — the existing pressure points created by sanctions and blockades. Emphasizing continuity, Kudlow called for the United States to “keep those pressure points on,” arguing that sustained economic strain would maximize leverage and potentially accelerate political transformation inside Iran.
The remarks reflect a hardline stance that prioritizes economic coercion and strategic pressure over negotiated compromise, positioning continued sanctions and isolation as central tools in Washington’s approach toward Tehran.
