“Basically, I just used that as a business name for the services I offer,” he explained. “It’s not a very large agency, but I do work with different sources depending upon what a client might need.”

“Sometimes a client has a website that’s very old and they want to update the look and the feel… other times they want a brand-new website starting from scratch, and sometimes clients don’t have websites at all,” he said.

“I believe that your website is literally the front door to your home,” he said. “Most of the clients that I work with use their website as a foundation of who they are.”

“If a client comes to a website and they see something unique… the retention time is increased,” he explained. “You want somebody to be on your website for as long as possible to learn what you are offering.”

“People are very reluctant… to provide a video of themselves,” he said. “They’re camera shy, or there’s a technology issue.”
However, reviews—whether written or video—remain essential. “It’s sort of like if you go shopping on Amazon,” he explained. “If one has three reviews and another has 103, you’re going to go with the one that has more reviews because you feel more comfortable.”

“I’m designing a picture that’s going to hang in your living room,” he said. “I don’t know what that picture looks like—you have it in your mind.”

“It’s a process of understanding what the client wants,” he said, emphasizing that strong communication is key to standing out in a crowded market.
