Actress Tori Spelling was involved in a two-vehicle crash Thursday evening in Temecula, California, according to officials briefed on the incident.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that deputies responded to the scene at approximately 5:44 p.m. PT. Authorities said that all individuals involved in the collision were medically evaluated following the crash. No arrests have been made, and the cause of the accident remains under investigation.
Entertainment outlet TMZ was first to report the incident. According to the report, Spelling and seven children — including her own children as well as some of their friends — were transported to a nearby hospital in multiple ambulances. The injuries were described as primarily cuts and bruises, though officials have not released detailed medical updates.
ABC News said it reached out to Spelling’s representative for comment but did not immediately receive a response.
Family Involved in the Incident
Spelling, best known for her role in the hit 1990s television series Beverly Hills, 90210, is a mother of five children: Liam, Stella, Hattie, Finn, and Beau. She shares the children with her ex-husband, Dean McDermott.
The former couple married in 2006 and later brought their family life to television in the reality series Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, which aired from 2007 to 2012 and chronicled their marriage, parenting journey, and business ventures.
According to divorce filings, Spelling and McDermott separated in June 2023 after years of marriage.
Investigation Ongoing
Authorities have not released additional details about what led to the collision, including whether weather, road conditions, or mechanical issues played a role. Investigators are continuing to review the circumstances surrounding the crash.
While the incident appears to have resulted in non-life-threatening injuries, it nonetheless caused a scare for the actress and the families involved. Fans have since taken to social media to express concern and wish Spelling and the children a speedy recovery.
Further updates are expected as law enforcement completes its investigation.
