TOWNSEND — Families can hop into some springtime fun during a Peep Cottage Decorating program on Wednesday, March 25, with two sessions offered at 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. at the Townsend Public Library, 12 Dudley Road.

Participants will create festive Peep cottages using a variety of colorful supplies provided by the library.

“Last year was our first year bringing this event to life and it was such a hit,” said Jessie Brothers, Children’s Room senior library technician. “Everyone seemed to really enjoy decorating their mini cottages and they all came out adorable!  We hope to continue it year after year, making it a fun spring tradition for families and patrons of all ages – and all you need to bring is your imagination for this sweet, hands-on activity.”

The program is recommended for ages 3 and up. Due to limited supplies, registration is required, and one house will be provided per registrant.

To register, or for more information on this or other library events, visit the library’s calendar at townsendlibrary.org or call 978-597-1714.
