The True Story of Aladdin: Yu's Incarnation Part 1

This is a story Yu told us about a young monk who underwent the temptations of a demon.

Aladdin was a cultivator of a Taoist school of practice — very young. He had once been an orphan; in his early childhood, his master had purchased him from human traffickers and taken him along to cultivate. Aladdin had always listened closely to his master's guidance, without the slightest slackening.

One day, his master led him to a desolate and uninhabited mountain range, then departed, leaving Aladdin alone there. Aladdin couldn't quite understand his master's intention, but he obediently remained where he was.

While he was on the mountain reading scriptures, a demon disguised as his master approached him and said: in a cave down in the valley, there is a treasury. Go there now and find an oil lamp for me. Be careful — do not touch any of the treasure, or you will alert the fire-breathing dragon that guards the mountain.

Without any suspicion, Aladdin followed the false master's instructions and descended into the valley. The cave was extremely narrow — only wide enough for one person to climb down.

After great effort, he finally reached the treasury, and was struck by the dazzling scene before him: mountains of gold, silver, and jewels gleaming with radiant light, with a narrow path running through the center, its sides lit by torches that illuminated the hills of treasure. Any single piece, taken back with him, could have made him wealthy for life.
