New financial analysis attributes much of the gain to cryptocurrency ventures, real estate appreciation, and legal developments affecting prior penalties.

President Donald Trump’s estimated net worth has climbed to approximately $6.5 billion, according to a new assessment published by Forbes.
The updated estimate represents an increase of roughly $1.4 billion over the past year and places Trump at No. 645 on the publication’s global list of billionaires.
Analysts attributed much of the increase to a combination of new business ventures and shifts in the value of existing assets tied to Trump’s portfolio.
According to the estimate, Trump generated about $550 million during the past year through sales of cryptocurrency tokens connected to World Liberty Financial, a digital finance venture launched in September 2024 in partnership with several investors, including Steve Witkoff.
The publication also reported that Trump and his partners sold a 49 percent stake in the venture to Aryam Investment, a firm backed by United Arab Emirates national security adviser Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Forbes estimated that transaction generated an additional $200 million for Trump.
Trump is also believed to hold millions of cryptocurrency tokens tied to the project and to the $TRUMP meme coin. Forbes estimated the combined value of those digital assets at approximately $570 million, while placing the value of Trump’s remaining 38 percent ownership stake in World Liberty Financial at about $240 million.
Trump’s financial outlook was also influenced by a legal ruling in August when an appeals court vacated a $517 million civil fraud penalty previously imposed in New York. The decision removed the liability while New York Attorney General Letitia James continues to pursue an appeal.
Real estate assets within Trump’s portfolio have also appreciated in value over the past year. Forbes estimated the value of Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s private club in Palm Beach, Florida, at approximately $560 million. Trump purchased the property in 1985 for about $10 million.
The valuation of Trump’s golf properties has also increased. Forbes estimated that Trump’s ten golf courses across six states are now worth roughly $550 million, up from an estimated $340 million a year earlier.
Not all assets in Trump’s portfolio have gained value. Shares of Trump Media & Technology Group, the parent company of the Truth Social platform, have declined over the past year. Forbes estimated that the drop reduced the value of Trump’s stake in the company to about $1.2 billion, compared with roughly $2.6 billion a year earlier.
Financial disclosures also show that Trump continues to generate income through licensing and branded products.
According to a report from Time, Trump’s 2025 financial disclosure listed several million dollars in royalty income tied to branded merchandise.
The filing reported approximately $3 million in revenue from Bibles promoted through musician Lee Greenwood’s website, $1 million from sales of a “45” branded guitar, $2.8 million from Trump-branded watches, and about $2.5 million from sneakers and fragrances associated with the Trump name.
The combination of new digital ventures, real estate holdings, and licensing revenue has contributed to the overall rise in Trump’s estimated wealth during the past year.
