As the conflict with Iran enters its fifth day, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have maintained a relentless campaign of strikes against key facilities directly linked to the Iranian regime and its proxy networks.

The IDF eliminated 5 senior commanders in the IRGC Quds Force’s Lebanon Corps in a precise strike in Beirut, the IDF announced.

According to IDF statements, Abu al-Qassem Baba’iyan, the recently appointed Head of the Military Office of the Supreme Leader and Chief of Staff of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, was eliminated in an Israeli airstrike. Baba’iyan played a critical role in coordinating among various branches of the Iranian regime’s forces to orchestrate operations and emergency responses. The IDF described his elimination as part of a broader series of targeted actions against high-ranking figures in the Iranian regime, dating back to the onset of Operation Roaring Lion and earlier.

In a separate precision strike in Beirut, the IDF neutralized at least five senior commanders from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Quds Force’s Lebanon Corps.

The IDF also disclosed that it targeted the IRGC’s Air Force Headquarters, which served as the primary command-and-control hub for directing the regime’s aerial activities. This occurred amid extensive IDF operations against numerous Iranian regime targets.

Further strikes in Tehran on Sunday resulted in the destruction of approximately 50 ammunition bunkers, a Basij base, an internal security command center, and a compound associated with the IRGC’s Ground Forces.

The IDF emphasized that the Internal Security Forces and the Basij are integral components of the Iranian regime’s armed apparatus, not only advancing terrorist activities over the years but also enforcing domestic control through dispersing protests, conducting arrests, securing transportation routes, and protecting critical facilities.
