“What to believe and who to believe?” those are the major factors of getting to know what’s really going behind the political and international scenes. Trying to find out the truth and digging deeper into the conceptions and misconceptions of a recent event is not as easy as it seems. In this case, it’s not only about finding the right source, but it’s more of overshadowing the truth through main events with hopes of triggering the audience’s attention and shift it towards something else. Anything, but the changes that have become more complex and important for their own safety and protection.

As politics is the triggering force for change and development, it’s important to keep in mind that the strategy of change through entertainment productions, events and even newly formed political events, are based on the enforcement of soft power rather than the use of physical means of violence and authority to shift the narrative of the present situation.

From the continuous attacks on Gaza, Ukraine, the ownership of Greenland, all the way to the recently released documents that concern child safety, and the future of the American-Iranian negotiations that the international community is in fear of failure due to its consequences and inability to resolve and reach any kind of long-term generational peace. Those events are all adding up into the political agenda of what’s next? And why are they all happening within the same timeline of each other?.

Questions vary, and concerns tend to be more objective and bold as the days pass by. Every political concern is being talked about, and every situation is being dissected into the analytical form of prevention and protection. But every life-threatening event is met with national and international distractions that are being played through the media and the digital platforms that act as a bold barrier for such a cause. Yet, distractions used to be more prevalent and less effective back in the days , because they were meant to make a point without taking  immediate actions and act upon them. But this mantra is tending to change due to the heaviness of the weight of every political development that is currently being carried. Through the media and the battle fields, the common ground of both sides are based on taking the audience’s attention and interest away from the truth and sincerity of the situation, and land it on a new platform that is deigned to bring the world together into the oblivion.

The media is tending to be a circus of the unknown, instead of having a clear picture of a particular situation and an event, the public are delivered with either falsifications from the press or a top story of a newly created event that is there to distract and attract. What is urgent and how to help is a misconception that is hidden between the pages and keyboards of writers, authors, journalists and even politicians. It’s a loophole of not knowing with an extension of being involved in  major events without being disclosed and informed prior to that.

As the American-Iranian negotiations are ongoing, the media circus is tending to get involved through false information and narratives. Not only are people talking about new war between different counterparts, but the possibility of new warfare techniques and technologies have also been set on the table without the consent and knowledge of poltical leaders themselves. Not to forget the new criteria of opening up the files of a new era of war when another is about to be closed or is in a critical situation for an equal settlement.

Distraction is by all means distracting, it creates the illusion of peace when real war is happening behind the scenes. Those distractions used to be a perfected narrative and strategy for peace back then. But with political development and warfare technologies, the need for a real sense of peace and stability through balance and transparency is more urgent than any other aspect of humanitarian intervention.
