We don’t have many heroes these days. If you’re over 55, you’ve outlived almost all of them. Time and cynicism set the bar for true heroism much higher than in the days of youth or youthful adulthood.
So when I tell you that Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard is a hero in the battle against lawfare, weaponization and obfuscation, you might be surprised.
Director Gabbard began a campaign of declassifying documents in the spring of 2025 that provide revelations and a chilling reminder of how close we came to losing our freedom. The first release flashed across the National newsscape with the speed of a UFO and as sure as would a personal sighting of such a thing, an understanding of what was revealed should have changed our lives forever. And make us question everything we thought we knew.
The centerpiece of the shocking first round reveal was the Biden-era “Strategic Implementation Plan for Countering Domestic Terrorism.” This plan was not just another bureaucratic exercise in administrative puffery but instead the smoking gun of the left’s plan to target, intimidate and imprison their perceived political opponents while simultaneously terrorizing the American people as a whole into silent, trembling acquiescence. All while shredding the Constitution and the Bill of Rights of course.
It marked the first time our government ever prioritized the targeting of American citizens as terrorists.
Although there is ample use of their multi-syllabic two-step of referring to their enemies as Domestic Violent Extremists (DVE), the framers of the Biden plan to target Americans quickly tired of using this cryptic term as the released paperwork showed. They just went straight for the jugular in labeling U.S. citizens “terrorists” and in fact using some form of that word 61 times in the first 15 pages of what was offered to the public.
Here’s a sampling of who was specifically targeted on the Biden/Harris hitlist.
“Religious zealots” including specific references to Catholics
“Pro-life agenda” people including those who pray in front of abortion clinics
“Anti-government/anti-authority” types which included anyone who:
questioned the COVID lockdowns or mandatory jabs
- demanded election integrity and reform
- advocated for freedom of speech
- denounced coordinated government censorship across media and social media platforms
- questioned the Biden government’s close ties with Communist China
- opposed the Biden administration’s illegal open border policy
- could be labeled solely by government bureaucrats as radicalized by racial hatred of non-whites
.This last one is more easily read: white people are terrorists. More specifically: white males.
As Wendi Strauch Mahoney summarized the days of Biden in an American Thinker article:
“One DHS excerpt read: ‘Among Domestic Violent Extremists, White Supremacist Extremists (WSEs) are the most persistent and lethal threat.’ There is no evidence that white supremacism is a widespread threat across the U.S., yet it remained central to the administration’s focus”.
“Internal documents … singled out white males as a national threat archetype” Mahoney observed. “Political profiling was normalized and SWAT raids were conducted on pro-life advocates and January 6 defendants”.
THIS is why, five years later, we need to keep talking about things like January 6 which looks with each new revelation to have been nothing more than a political hitjob levied upon hapless folks who came to the Capitol city to bid farewell to President Trump. People fitting into every group in the cascading Biden hit list found themselves in the crosshairs. They were framed, railroaded and jailed in accordance with a secretive national policy.
The declassified Domestic Violent Extremist roadmap left a pull-out point soon to be filled by whatever government plan might actually unfold around the Congressional hoopla of January 2021, be it pipe bomb, trespass inside the Capitol or a MAGA-clad Antifa thugs’ mass casualty event. An inside-government assault on civil liberties was in the offing regardless of what Congress did on the day of certification of the Electoral College scheduled for January 6.
As Director Gabbard, discussing the multi-agency conspiracy, said on the Fox News program The Will Cain Show: “You remember very well, Will, the ominous speech that President Biden gave in 2022 where with this red background and Marines standing in the background he issued an address to the nation warning the American people that Donald J. Trump and MAGA republicans pose “a direct threat to the fabric of our ‘Republic’”.
“And there’s a consistent thread through here” said Gabbard “that these ideologies that they are designating … happen to be those of people who were using their First Amendment Rights to oppose certain policies of the Biden administration”.
She emphasized that documents she released said “(all) people who oppose President Biden’s Administration’s policies should be seen with some form of suspicion as a potential domestic terror threat”.
Biden’s war on Americans as terrorists funneled $80 million in 2021 alone through DHS to support regional and community programs that trained Americans to report on one another! Nosey neighbor Gladys Kravitz had the ability, once empowered by the Feds to have you surveilled and even thrust into pretrial imprisonment for non-violent “offenses” including exercise of free thought or even daring to speak at school board meetings. All of this on merely the “say-so” of any garden-variety neighbor with a grudge. This as the government weaponized the offices of Civil Rights and Civil Liberties, the Cyber Security and Infrastructure Agency and the Office of Intelligence and Analysis. That’s right, authorized by the government to record and analyze your phone calls, texts, social media and internet search history.
Well, they’re still doing that…
Investigative journalist Christina Maas lays out how the “Strategic Implementation Plan for Countering Domestic Terrorism” planned to follow the framework of actual censorship laws passed by other countries. She writes “Then came the Global Internet Forum to Counter Terrorism (GIFCT) for short. It sounds like something from a Tom Clancy novel, but it’s very real and very powerful. A cross-border partnership of Big Tech and government outfits, GIFCT operates a shared hash database used to flag and delete content before human eyes ever see it. It’s fast, opaque, and thoroughly insulated from public oversight”.
There is no discernible effort currently underway to stop GIFCT, or any of the other cyber surveillance programs which violated Americans’ privacy that Maas uncovered.
Those irascible old trolls from under the bridge John Brennan and James Clapper quickly lawyered up after Gabbard’s release of documents showing their involvement in the RussiaGate Hoax. These gents who rallied 50 of their fellow former intel types to denounce the Hunter Biden Laptop as “Russian misinformation” were prominent players from behind the curtain in the multi-layered terror targeting scheme. Their role made official in 2023 with then DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas’ convening of the Homeland Intelligence Expert Group and the two Johns prominent in membership. The fact that they were specifically tasked with helping to identify “disinformation” as part of the domestic violent extremist threat matrix would be simply laughable if it were not so obviously and perhaps criminally conspiratorial.
Leave it to doddering former intel and psychological operations bureaucrats to entrench themselves in an undeniably unconstitutional aspect of the Biden admin counterterrorism effort at thought control. They and their entrenched accomplices remain determined to influence public opinion under the guise of “digital literacy programming.” These operations, still carried out in partnership with a legion of NGOs, saved from the DOGE chopping block by a bi-partisan effort, aim to “educate” (intel types call it “brainwash”) local agencies and communities on the leftist ideation of what is true and what is inconvenient. Labelling the latter “misinformation” — especially if derived from social media sources. Christened “public health-focused prevention programming,” it was supposedly implemented to help Americans sort truth from “disinformation”. It is in fact, propaganda: the heart and soul of the highly successful pre-WWII German mass re-education efforts at mind control (MK).
The birth of this Biden Battleplan can be traced to the Autumn of 2020 when President Trump was still in term number one. Its framers seem committed to stopping Trump’s citizen-mandated accountability and common sense overhaul of the political landscape. So much so, they disguised the machinery of political retribution as an anti-terrorism program. While the titular Head of State whom we call “The President” may come and go, the swamp dwellers who infest the NSC, FBI, DHS, DOJ, CIA, NSA and other three letter puzzle palaces specifically charged with responsibilities under this plan remain in place.
As the ever-shrinking staff at the Washington Post squealed “Democracy dies in darkness” they gave hardly a mention to Gabbard’s courageous actions of transparency in government. Wapo and the perception/thought control freaks like its owner Jeff Bezos seemingly are the darkness.
America First Legal Foundation (AFL), the conservative public interest organization founded in 2021 by now Trump Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, officially reached out to Director Gabbard via letter on April 2, 2025. The foundation formally requested a declassification review and release of the parts of the Biden Administration “National Strategy for Countering Domestic Terrorism” hidden from the public.
Director Tulsi Gabbard had the fortitude to actually DO something in response.
Decisive, positive action for the good of all Americans is and has always been rare in Washington DC. The fact that no action has taken place at the DOJ or on Capitol Hill to right wrongs or bring accountability to something that reeks of illegality, and even treason is not so rare.
Director Gabbard has continued to rankle DC denizens by declassifying and releasing documents exposing much of the Russian Election Interference Hoax and the disgraced FBI’s role therein. Rumor central has it that she is preparing to release new documents including revelations of MK Ultra programs which have advanced in scope to the use of psychotronic weapons by foreign governments and likely the CIA itself against US citizens.
As Director Tulsi Gabbard summarized when asked about the release of documents last year “When you look at all of these things together, you understand at its core the thing that I committed to the American people to root out which is the weaponization and politicization of the intelligence community and national security state against the American people”.
Is it any wonder that our Director of National Intelligence, visibly cleaning up decades of mess within the corrupt national intelligence apparatus comes under fire from every angle including the now bogus secret whistleblower allegations which have no specifics, no foundation and no credibility? Is it any wonder that President Trump trusts her alone to take control of the investigation into the perversion of our elections and sent her to Georgia to perhaps supervise the still-shady FBI in evidence recovery?
Cue Senator Jon Ossoff (D-Ga) quoted in Politico questioning why Gabbard has been “bizarrely and personally lurking” in Georgia at the seizure of hundreds of thousands of bogus ballots when everyone within the Beltway has heard chatter of foreign involvement in rigging our elections. Being sent by the President on any task that might even remotely involve foreign or domestic intelligence operations certainly falls within her sphere or responsibility.
Now comes Senator Mark Warner, (D-Va), member of the thoroughly shady Senate Intel Committee weaving his treasonous intrigue. He claims to “have” a “whistleblower,” unidentified and unvetted of course who claims that someone else, “an individual associated with foreign intelligence” made a phone call about something or other and that DNI Gabbard failed to report said rumor to Warmer’s all powerful committee. Only a profiling politician could crow about his kind of he-said, she-said nonsense. The stalwart Gabbard simply called Sen. Warner a liar and rightly dismissed him like so much belly button lint.
Yes, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard is a hero. And seemingly unflappable. Yes, a hero does the legally and morally correct things. She does them with a full understanding of the vilification, roadblocks and political tomfoolery guaranteed to come her way from swamp creatures with so much to hide from and so much to be fearful of.
