The law enforcement veteran and InVest USA founder discusses a new post by the White House discussing the events that occurred that day – as well as the fallout.

Five years ago, thousands flocked to the Capitol in Washington, DC to voice their disdain for what was happening to then former President Donald Trump. They were simply trying to state the unfairness of the situation. But, surprise, the media and many others framed it as an “insurrection,” believing that they meant to do harm. As a result, hundreds were arrested, with a judiciary committee put in place to unfairly punish them.

And here we are. The impact still resonates after all this time. But Trump isn’t letting things go by quietly, as the White House has posted an official site that breaks down what occurred that day – and, more importantly, the truth that comes with it. While everyone isn’t likely to accept it, it shows a different side that the aforementioned judiciary committee – not to mention Joe Biden – had no trouble overlooking.

“President Trump took decisive action to pardon January 6 defendants who were unfairly targeted, overcharged, and used as political examples,” the site notes. “They were not protected by the leaders who failed them. They were punished to cover incompetence.”

Absolutely agree there. Many didn’t even have a chance to have a fair say, and sat in a jail cell for different amounts of time, just so many could believe that justice had truly been served. But quite the opposite.

The real crime is how Nancy Pelosi wasted three years, not to mention nearly $20 million in taxpayer money, guiding this Committee to do the bidding of Biden and his then Department of Justice. She has since acknowledged responsibility, noting that “we have totally failed” and “I take full responsibility” for the National Guard failing to be deployed. (This is based on HBO footage that, surprise, remained unaired due to certain people holding it back. Wonder who.)

The site makes it clear where the responsibility truly lied in the story building behind the “insurrection.” “The Democrats masterfully reversed reality after January 6, branding peaceful patriotic protestors as ‘insurrectionists’ and framing the event as a violent coup attempt orchestrated by Trump – despite no evidence of armed rebellion or intent to overthrow the government,” it continued.

Exactly right. People were arrested and unfairly charged for acts they didn’t even partake in.

“In truth, it was the Democrats who staged the real insurrection by certifying a fraud-ridden election, ignoring widespread irregularities, and weaponizing federal agencies to hunt down dissenters, all while Pelosi’s own security lapses invited the chaos they later exploited to seize and consolidate power.”

Scary, isn’t it? The fact that Pelosi not only peddled whatever story she and her fellow Democrats wanted to over to the press, but also utilized government agencies to punish these people.

And it wasn’t without further toll, at that. Along with thousands serving unfair incarceration, nine lost their lives at the protest – including five known suicides. We’ll never get these lives back as a result of this, and the blame clearly falls on the shoulders of these corrupt, inept leaders.

While all of the damage has not been undone, Trump and his administration have worked overtime to right the wrongs done here. That said, I do wish Pelosi, her fellow Democrats and maybe even Biden got some level of comeuppance for the heinous actions they took part in here.

People on social media wag their fingers at Trump regularly, believing he’s unfairly punishing American citizens and putting them through “a world of Hell,” so to speak. But the truth of the matter is that the January 6th “insurrection” – and the legal fallout that came from it – is incredibly worse. And doubt all you want, but the proof is right here, including the video where Pelosi confesses and a detailed timeline breaking down just where everything really went wrong. Take a closer look, you might just be surprised by what you find.

I do hope that the Americans affected by this – and their families and friends, for the poor souls that lost their lives from this – can finally get on the road to feeling justified for their actions. They weren’t at the Capitol for violence, they weren’t at the Capitol for revenge, they were at the Capitol to make a difference.

If only the people that were trying to silence them gave that kind of effort.
