French Intelligence Warnings
A May 2025 report revealed the Muslim Brotherhood’s “Western conquest strategy”, including:
- 139 mosques linked to the group.
- 114 Islamic schools.
- 280 Islamic associations.
The Brotherhood’s secrecy and “taqiyya” (duplicity) make it difficult to measure its full influence, Le Figaro noted.
What’s Next?
The poll underscores growing concerns about Islamist influence in France, where debates over secularism, immigration, and national identity continue to intensify.
“This is not just about religion—it’s about a political project to reshape society,” a French counterterrorism official said. The government’s response remains under scrutiny.
