A Los Angeles hip-hop artist and social media figure known online as Clintnlord has been charged with multiple felony counts of rape and intent to commit rape, prosecutors said Tuesday. The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office announced that 32- year-old Clinton Adams is accused of assaulting two women after taking them to an isolated area left barren by the destructive Palisades Fire in January.

According to prosecutors, Adams faces three felony counts of forcible rape tied to alleged attacks on June 29, Aug. 7 and Aug. 8, along with a separate felony count of assault with intent to commit rape related to the Aug. 7 incident. Each of the rape charges carries a special allegation involving multiple victims, which could increase the possible sentence. If convicted on all counts with special allegations, Adams could face up to 90 years in prison.

District Attorney Nathan Hochman said the two women demonstrated significant courage in reporting the assaults. Detectives with the Los Angeles Police Department and prosecutors indicated that additional victims may exist and urged anyone with information to come forward.

Adams, a resident of the Northridge neighborhood, has pleaded not guilty and is being held on nearly $1.5 million bail. An attorney listed as his counsel did not respond to requests for comment.

Authorities described the alleged crime scene as a “vacant area impacted by January wildfires.” Earlier reporting from City News Service suggested the incidents occurred at a vacant residence in the fire zone. Hochman characterized the alleged conduct as predatory, noting the exploitation of a disaster that killed at least 31 people and devastated communities from Pacific Palisades to Altadena.

Adams’ social media accounts show a following of more than 500,000 across platforms. A preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 21 in downtown Los Angeles criminal court.
