Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said, his team will continue discussion with the US and President Trump’s team as he wants to have the full-scale information about US and Moscow’s recent meeting’s outcome.

According to Zelensky, the goal of the meetings will be to access the information about what was discussed in Moscow during the US delegation’s visit.

“Today, Ukrainian representatives will continue their discussions in the United States with President Trump’s team. Our task now is to obtain full information about what was said in Moscow and what other pretexts Putin has come up with to drag out the war and to pressure Ukraine,” Zelensky said in a post.

“Ukraine is prepared for any possible developments, and of course we will work as constructively as possible with all partners to ensure that peace is achieved – and that it is, after all, a dignified peace. Only a dignified peace provides real security, and we fully understand that this requires – and will continue to require – the support of our partners,” he added.

The Ukrainian President also talked to President of the European Council António Costa on Friday regarding the war situation.

Zelensky said they had exchanged information about the contacts with partners.

Discussion also took place in the negotiating track.

“The Ukrainian team has scheduled meetings with the American side. We expect to continue working just as substantively to bring this war to an end with a reliable and dignified peace. We agreed to continue our coordination,” Zelensky stated.
