The White House released President Donald Trump’s MRI results Monday, confirming that his cardiovascular and abdominal imaging were “perfectly normal,” following weeks of speculation from Democrats and establishment media figures.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced the release during her daily briefing, reading excerpts from the president’s physician’s summary while reporters received copies of the report. The statement confirmed that Trump underwent advanced imaging in October as part of his annual executive physical.

“As part of President Trump’s comprehensive executive physical, advanced imaging was performed because men in his age group benefit from a thorough evaluation of cardiovascular and abdominal health,” Leavitt read. “President Trump’s cardiovascular imaging was perfectly normal—no evidence of arterial narrowing, impairing blood flow, or abnormalities in the heart or major vessels. The heart chambers are normal in size. The vessel walls appear smooth and healthy, and there are no signs of inflammation or clotting.”

The physician’s report also noted that the president’s abdominal imaging was “perfectly normal,” stating that “all major organs appear very healthy and well perfused” and that “everything evaluated is functioning within normal limits with no acute or chronic concerns.”

“This level of detailed assessment is standard for an executive physical at President Trump’s age and confirmed that he remains in excellent overall health,” the summary concluded.

The disclosure follows calls from Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and several media commentators demanding the results’ release after Trump referred to Walz as “seriously retarded” for his handling of immigration policy in Minnesota.

In an October Truth Social post, Trump criticized Walz and Rep. Ilhan Omar, writing that “hundreds of thousands of refugees from Somalia are completely taking over the once great State of Minnesota” and that “Somalian gangs are roving the streets looking for ‘prey.’”

Walz responded with a brief message on X, writing only, “Release the MRI results.”

The governor has since faced his own scrutiny, as hundreds of Minnesota state employees have accused his administration of negligence in connection with a multimillion-dollar fraud scheme tied to state social service programs.

The White House said Monday that the publication of the MRI findings should “put an end to irresponsible speculation” and reaffirmed that President Trump “remains in exceptional physical condition.”
