‘I quit the Communist Youth League’ (May 20, 2025)
When I joined the Youth League in middle school, I didn’t understand anything. I just thought being granted membership would give me face. It’s because we’re indoctrinated from a young age to believe that "loving the Party and loving the country" is normal. But in reality, people in China have no political freedom, and yet they keep telling you that you have rights.
I think that it's only normal for there there to be a diversity of voices in society, and only in this way can we make progress. A system where only one voice is allowed is definitely sick.
I was never a Party member, but I hereby formally declare my withdrawal from the Youth League. Thank you!

Quitting the League and Pioneers (May 20, 2025)
As a government, the Chinese Communist Party keeps the people unaware of the truth. Not only has this led to many unjust and false cases, but it has also caused an increase in natural disasters in today’s society. I now understand that the Tuidang movement can bring us safety, and I sincerely declare my withdrawal from the Communist Youth League and the Young Pioneers, which I joined previously.

The Tuidang movement, started in November 2004, encourages Chinese around the world to renounce their oaths made to lay down their lives for communism when they joined the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) or its affiliated youth organizations. Over the past two decades, hundreds of millions of people have given their assumed or real names to voice their separation from the CCP, the single most deadly regime in human history.
At the forefront of urging Chinese to take part in the Tuidang movement are adherents of Falun Gong, a traditional spiritual discipline that the CCP banned in 1999 and has severely persecuted since. Here, Vision Times presents recent statements from those who have quit the Party, translated from the Chinese.
