‘I look forward to the arrival of a better, new China’ (May 21, 2025)
My name is Zhang Jiayuan, and I am currently a student in Dalian, Liaoning Province. In everyday life, I have witnessed the evil actions of the Communist Party time and again, and come to recognize its fundamentally wicked nature. I do not wish to associate with this evil, and thus declare my withdrawal from the Communist Youth League. I look forward to the arrival of a better, new China.

Quitting the Party, League, and Pioneers (May 21, 2025)
I have followed the Communist Party for many years; its policies and methods have left me thoroughly disillusioned. The CCP has never done a single good thing for the common people. It is rife with deceit throughout the ranks, is riddled with corruption, brings disaster to the country and suffering to the people, and has committed every kind of immoral and evil deed. Today, I solemnly pledge to withdraw from this evil organization that is the CCP. I permanently all sever ties with it, and return to life as a normal citizen.

The Tuidang movement, started in November 2004, encourages Chinese around the world to renounce their oaths made to lay down their lives for communism when they joined the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) or its affiliated youth organizations. Over the past two decades, hundreds of millions of people have given their assumed or real names to voice their separation from the CCP, the single most deadly regime in human history.
At the forefront of urging Chinese to take part in the Tuidang movement are adherents of Falun Gong, a traditional spiritual discipline that the CCP banned in 1999 and has severely persecuted since. Vision Times presents recent statements from those who have quit the Party, translated from the Chinese.
