The realms of various programming languages were unfamiliar, and I was far from a natural in programming. Despite these challenges, I was determined to secure a stable future for my family. This journey was marked by initial self-doubt and apprehension as I navigated an entirely new skill set.

During this challenging phase, while working at a CMS contractor company, I crossed paths with Erik, who was our team leader. Although based in our Baltimore office, I only interacted with Erik online, as he was from a different city.
