In this video our road trip resumes after the pit stop for repairs. We take the Ferry at Horseshoe bay ride past Sechelt to Edgemont at Grant Narrows to see the Skookumchuck rapids. On the other side of the peninsula the ocean narrows and when the tide changes it creates rapids through the narrows that kayaks like to surf. That was pretty cool.

Then we took the second ferry over to Powell River and set up camp in town on the waterfront at the Willingdon camp site. There's lots to do in Powell river. Powell River has a chain of lakes you can canoe and portage just like the boron lakes. Only this chain is a little more rugged. You can't wheel the canoes on dollies you have to carry them. It's really nice and not as busy.

After setting up camp I road out to Haywire Bay campsite which is on Powell Lake and is on the canoe circuit. It's very nice. 7 KM on a gravel road wasn't bad. I tried to check out the campsite at Lois Lake which some consider the beginning of the canoe circuit but it was more than 7 KM on a gravel road. The road turned up hill and it was a bit rugged for a street bike. Fine for a car though. This looks like a really nice canoe circuit. The campsite at Lois lake or Haywire Bay are both awesome all on their own. There are lots of nice campsite in the area.
