Off-duty officer identified as suspect in homicide

Philadelphia police have confirmed that an off-duty officer is the suspect in a homicide under investigation in Northampton County.

The shooting happened shortly before 2 p.m. Friday in the 1200 block of Old Gate Road in Allen Township.

Pennsylvania State Police said troopers were called to a home for a reported domestic incident. At the scene, they found a 27-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds and were told the suspected shooter had fled. #philadelphia #fyp
