🔥This is a vintage industrial fire alarm bell, manufactured in the UK by Gents of Leicester around the 1950s. Founded in 1872 by John Thomas Gent, the company became one of Britain’s leading producers of electric bells and fire alarm systems. Their equipment was widely used in factories, warehouses, schools and public buildings. This model is a heavy-duty British industrial signal bell designed for direct mains connection. Versions were made for AC or DC supply up to 250 volts and were built to be extremely loud, reliable and durable.
