Recipes

🍽️ Baked Salmon with Potatoes

Ingredients:• Salmon fillets• Potatoes• 1 tbsp lemon juice• 1 tbsp minced garlic• Salt• ½ tsp black pepper• ½ tsp paprika• ½ tsp turmeric powder• 1 tsp cumin powder• A little oil
Method:Marinate the salmon and potatoes with all the seasonings and oil. Let them rest for a few minutes. Place the salmon and potatoes on a foil-lined baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 25 minutes.

🍚 Vegetable Rice

Ingredients:• ⅓ cup oil• 1 onion, chopped• 1 large tomato, chopped• 2 star anise• 3 black cardamoms• 1 tsp cumin seeds• 1 cinnamon stick• 1 tbsp tomato paste• Mixed vegetables• Washed rice• Hot water (enough to cover the rice)• Salt to taste
Method:Sauté the onion until golden. Add the whole spices, then the tomato and cook for a few minutes. Stir in the tomato paste and mixed vegetables. Add the rice, season with salt, and pour in enough hot water to cover the rice. Once the water has mostly evaporated, reduce the heat to low, cover, and cook for 15 minutes. Remove the cinnamon stick before serving.

Walnut cake

Walnut Cake with Caramel Walnut Sauce
Cake Ingredients:• 1 cup walnuts, finely chopped• 2 eggs• ½ cup sugar (100 g)• 1 tsp vanilla sugar• ⅓ cup milk• ½ cup oil• ¾ cup all-purpose flour (100 g)• 1 tsp baking powder
Cake Method:Beat the eggs, sugar, and vanilla sugar until light and fluffy. While mixing, add the milk and oil. Stir in the chopped walnuts. Sift together the flour and baking powder, then gently fold into the wet mixture. Pour the batter into a lined 20 cm cake pan and bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for 25–30 minutes.

🍮 Caramel Walnut Sauce
Ingredients:• 1½ tbsp sugar• 2 tbsp butter• 150 ml whipped cream (or any cream)• ½ cup crushed walnuts• 1 tsp vanilla sugar
Method:Caramelize the sugar over medium heat. Add the butter, then pour in the cream once the butter has melted. Cook until the sugar has completely dissolved. Stir in the crushed walnuts and vanilla sugar, and cook until slightly thickened. The sauce will thicken more as it cools. Pour over the cooled cake and refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
