The Resisters

Set in Hiroshima, Taizo is visited by a death god who informs him that he is already dead and sends him two years back to his late sister’s home. As he begins to recover lost memories, he encounters Miki Uesaka, a young woman pursued by the underworld. While sheltering her, Taizo is confronted by the death god’s final demand: forcing him to fight against fate itself.
