For me, it comes down to how you’ll actually use it.

The Quad Socket is an incredible space saver. If you’re building an EDC toolkit, emergency kit, backpack, glove box, or compact service pouch where every inch matters, having four socket sizes in one attachment is hard to beat.

The Dual Socket, however, is still my choice for everyday professional use. Its simpler design has fewer moving parts, making it the option I’d personally reach for if I’m using it all day, every day.

Neither one is bad—they’re simply designed for different priorities.

Quad Socket = Maximum compactness.

Dual Socket = Maximum simplicity and durability.
