Slow July Days | Cozy Homemaking, From-Scratch Cooking & Garden Harvests

We’ve settled into the warmth and steadiness of July here. Morning coffee on the porch, gathering flowers from the garden, harvesting fresh carrots, onions, garlic and basil, baking our family’s annual carrot cake tradition, making homemade roasted tomato basil soup with sourdough grilled cheese, and enjoying a beautiful summer rainstorm with the kids.
