Leg 2/2 of overlanding in Japan! A different form of van life - or is it camping?! Either way, it's been an adventurous dream of ours for a while now and we thought- what better country do experience it in other than Japan! This powerful 4x4 could take us around any area of Japan with ease - so of course, we chose the mountains! Steeps hills and terrain, this was nothing for this Land rover defender 90. Join us as we adventure into the Japanese alps. We've heard about the art of Japanese forest bathing for a while now and couldn't wait to try it out. The last time we got naked was when we headed to the nude beach in Wales a few years ago and we've been eager to try it out in public again since! We took the overlander up into the mountains and trekked for a little while to find this hidden gem. Hot springs are everywhere in Japan and it's the normal culture to go in naked as sometimes they mention using a bathing suit will spoil the water and pollute it. I think this is the best hot spring we've ever found! 'Open dreams, open spaces… an open life. That’s over landing. A completely self-sufficient adventure, taking you to wherever your heart desires..'
