Construction worker dies after altercation with resident, police say

A 19-year-old construction worker was shot and killed Wednesday afternoon at a Roxborough home where neighbors say a crew had been working without issue for several days.

Residents on the 400 block of Ripka Street said they were stunned by the violence.

"This is shocking. Surprising. This doesn't really happen here," said Colleen Daily, who lives nearby. #philadelphia
