Parallels RAS 21.2 introduces the Custom Provider Framework, a powerful new capability that enables organizations to integrate virtualization platforms that are not natively supported as Tier 1 providers in Parallels RAS.

Using a script-based connector that acts as middleware, IT teams can integrate platforms such as Proxmox, Virtuozzo, and KVM or Xen-based environments, while managing them directly through the Parallels RAS console.

With the Custom Provider Framework, organizations can:

• Integrate custom virtualization providers into Parallels RAS
• Discover and enumerate virtual machines
• Retrieve guest operating system information
• Perform supported VM power operations
• Promote virtual machines to Parallels RAS Templates
• Clone virtual machines
• Manage template versioning

Watch this video to learn how the Custom Provider Framework extends Parallels RAS to support virtually any virtualization platform through a flexible, script-based integration model.
